Daily Bread

For years government and church organizations have urged their people to prepare themselves by storing extra food and water.  In light of recent natural disasters such as the Asian tsunami and numerous hurricanes, it is easy to see the importance of doing so.  Hundreds of thousands of people were rendered helpless.  Normal food supply chains were disrupted.  Many were left without the basic necessities we all take for granted. 

Without warning, each of us may face an unexpected storm in our own life such as a loss of job, disability, economic downturn, or natural disaster.  While we cannot control when these things may happen, we can prepare ourselves to weather the storm.
